Who we are
|
Hardt Equipment is a leading designer and manufacturer of food service equipment. The current product offering includes commercial rotisseries, heated merchandisers, counter-top heated display cases and a cleaning apparatus for cooking utensils and accessories. Our signature brand-names include Inferno rotisseries, Zone self-serve heated merchandisers and Snack Zone heated display cases. These products enjoy a world-class reputation and are used by supermarkets, warehouse clubs, restaurants, convenience stores, commercial establishments, hotels, cafeterias, and other food service operations everywhere.
Hardt is a privately-held company. Originally a specialty engineering firm, Hardt's foray into the food service equipment industry began in the early 1980's after being commissioned by a leading Quebec restaurant chain to develop a superior rotisserie. With the success of that creation, Hardt began focusing its attention exclusively on rotisseries with the objective being to design and build top quality products, geared to the customers' needs. Distinguishing features of Hardt's rotisseries include live-flame theatrics, robust drive systems, integrated water pans, gas-fired infrared burners and exceptional durability.

What We Do |
In response to a developing health trend in the 1990's, where consumers shifted their interest from fried foods to more healthy roasted foods and to open-concept cooking, Hardt introduced the live-flame Inferno rotisserie line in 1992. Leading US restaurant chains such as KFC and Kenny Rogers Roasters were early advocates, recognizing not only the quality of Hardt's products but also the level of support that was uncommonly high for the industry and they helped catapult Hardt into the international arena where sales to other restaurants, supermarkets and institutions grew very quickly. Always a pioneer and innovator, Hardt launched the world's first self cleaning rotisserie, the Inferno 3000, in 2003 and confirmed its position as an industry leader. The Inferno 3000 has been an immediate success and remains the rotisserie of choice for many of Hardt's largest customers.
The Zone Hot Case line was launched in 2000 in response to retailers' desire for safe, worry-free merchandisers tailored to the expanding hot-prepared-food market. All Hardt Zones use sophisticated and reliable aerospace technology to confidently address industry issues with food quality, food safety and merchandising. The Snack Zone, developed recently, uses Zone heated shelf technology to revolutionize counter-top merchandising for retailers of hot grab 'n' go snacks.
Hardt's reputation for outstanding quality also extends to customer service.
